About me...

Hey.. I'm Jordan, I'm 19 years old, and I live in NY(Woot). I'm basically a hopeless romantic that has never lived her own love story. I can read about them and write them, but somehow tend to be lacking in my own fairytale. As mentioned, I write, I think it's a lot of fun, reading books included. I also listen to music nearly 24/7. I'm not sure what to say about myself, because there's so much to tell! It's better for you to just ask me yourself. Oh! I'm in college right now to become an elementary teacher, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. I love working with little kids, and can't wait to have my own classroom! I love to travel, but my funds limit my traveling usually. I work part time and go to school full time, so I'm frequently running from place to place. I'm judged a lot based on my outwards appearance; which not gonna lie, kinda sucks. I'm a great person, if you look passed the outside, and look inside (:

I'm looking for...

My other half. The person who will complete me. I don't have a set criteria of what my man should be; I think everyone is an unique individual. I would like someone who can make me laugh, and enjoy the simple things in life. I personally love it more if a guy does the little things; like picking flowers by the side of the road, or holding hands in public, rather than getting an expensive necklace or bracelet. Not that there is anything wrong with that, I just think the little things are more personal. I'd like to be able to cuddle with a guy at home and watch a movie or play games. But I'd also like someone who isn't ashamed to take me out in public, and let everyone know I'm his. I guess I've read too many Sarah Dessen novels :P

I spend my free time...

Well, as you can see I put a lot of interests up there. Honestly, some of the things I'm INTERESTED in I can't do. For example, horses. I love horses, and have ridden less than a handful of times; though I wish I could do it more. Does that make sense? There are other things I've maybe done once that were fun, so I included them. Anywho, basically I write and listen to music, chat online with friends. It's fun.

About my job...

I work at a Beauty Supply Place. I basically help licensed customers find the best products they need to do their job. It's a lot of fun! Someday though, I'm going to be a teacher.

How I spent my last vacation...

The last VACATION vacation I had.. I went to Oregon to visit my eldest sister and her husband. I spent five weeks out there, and got to know a ton of people. It was the best vacation I think I've ever had. I'm seriously considering moving there someday.

My last good read...

Well, I read basically anything. If it's got a good title, and an interesting summary, I'll pick it up. I have this thing where if I start a book I have to finish it. I love anything from Shakespeare to Sarah Dessen.

My top 3 favorite movies and why you should see them...

Moulin Rouge [AMAZING.. sad, sweet, lovely, and I want to love someone that deeply], A Walk to Remember [same reasons, but it's truely... beautiful], and I'm hard pressed to decide my third. It's between Gone With the Wind and Pride and Prejudice [The A&E mini series version]. They're both lovely. Can you tell I have a theme going on?

Everything. Haha. I have such a broad range of things I listen too. Sometimes I only listen to one or two songs from a particular artist, and hate the rest.

What my best friend would say about me...

It's always the quiet ones. Then she would probably saying I'm funny and caring.

Nada! Though I wish there was a cup of steaming coffee or tea.. Mmm.

Last Saturday night I...

Well, being that last night was Saturday, and it was Halloween... I handed out candy! Then I went over my sister's house to watch the omen with a buncha girls and then play Buzzwords.
The Saturday before thaaat... I went on a retreat with my College Group, and we spent the weekend at a campground, hung out, played a million games of Apples to Apples [amazing game btw], and we went on a hike on mt. beacon in the rain. Oh and culinary students cooked for us! It was fun.

I once made someone laugh by...

Well.. last night we were playing buzz words,and the word was cake.. so the question read something like "the favorite dessert of a mouse" and I read it "the favorite dessert of a moose". [the answer was cheesecake ;)] but everyone started laughing.
